Jeremy M. Levin

Dr Jeremy Levin is a physician-scientist and global biopharmaceutical leader with more than three decades of experience building, financing, and leading innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of Ceryvyn Therapeutics, Executive Chairman of Ovid Therapeutics, and Chairman of Gensaic.

Previously, Jeremy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Prior to Teva, he was a member of the Executive Committee of Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led the company’s transformational “String of Pearls” strategy and helped build one of the industry’s leading immuno-oncology franchises through acquisitions and partnerships including Medarex. Earlier in his career, he served as Global Head of Strategic Alliances at Novartis, where he established pioneering collaborations across the biotechnology sector.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has played a central role in the development, financing, partnering, and commercialization of innovative medicines across multiple therapeutic areas. He has served on the boards of numerous public and private biotechnology companies and is Emeritus Chairman of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), the world’s largest biotechnology trade association.

Jeremy earned degrees from Oxford University and Cambridge University, where he trained as both a scientist and physician. He has received numerous international awards and recognitions for leadership in biotechnology and medicine, including the Scrip Lifetime Achievement Award. Endpoints News named him one of the 60 Living Pioneers of the Biotechnology Industry, recognizing individuals whose contributions helped shape modern biotechnology.
